The hard drive in the device often fails at some point, which manifests as faulty device functions, navigation updates that cannot be performed or completed, or the device only starting briefly or constantly restarting.

A firmware update should then be performed to bring the device to the same software version as the hard drive.

ATTENTION:

New navigation data must then be installed.

The hard drive is checked and prepared before shipping. Therefore, exchanges are excluded. The hard drives are password-protected and can only be used once per device. Please provide us with the model number and serial number after purchase.

Variant Without installation

In the “Without installation” variant, commissioning must then be carried out by a qualified Mercedes service partner and the SA code must be entered in the data card. Otherwise, it may not be possible to use the system properly.

Variant Incl. installation

For the “Including Installation” option, we will enter the SA code into your Mercedes Benz data card.
Due to current lead times, an appointment must be scheduled on average 1-2 weeks in advance.
